Steve Babcock’s advertising career began in the most cliché way possible – working in the mailroom. Since then, he has created noteworthy campaigns for brands like Volkswagen, Domino’s Pizza, Best Buy, Applebee’s, Guitar Hero, Kraft, Amex, JCPenney, Samsung, Lemonhead and more. In addition to raising a small family and touring the country in a rock band, he’s held creative positions ranging from copywriter to partner/executive creative director at EURO RSCG, Struck, Crispin Porter + Bogusky and EVB. Babcock has been included in industry lists including, Forbes’ “30 Most Creative People in Social Media” and XYZ’s “Top 25 Young Creative Professionals.”

Today, Babcock is chief creative officer at digital agency VaynerMedia, where he brings a unique perspective to the business. His media-agnostic approach always puts the solution first and considers every possible outlet, from prime-time TV to Periscope. His practicality keeps the focus firmly on the business impact and not on flashy industry awards. Babcock’s innovative nature breeds solutions beyond typical advertising, and his favorite professional achievements include inventing the famous, and impactful Domino’s Pizza Tracker, as well as his personal viral initiative to curb distracted driving known as “Red Thumb Reminder.”
