Rob Howl leads Digital Strategy & Commerce for Southern Glazer’s, the largest wine and spirits distributor in North America serving over 300,000 customers with annual revenue over $19B. Before joining SGWS, Rob was Sr. Director of Strategy at SapientRazorfish, the leading global digital transformation agency where he advised B2B and B2C clients seeking to defend, differentiate, or disrupt their industries through best-in-class customer engagement and omnichannel commerce experiences.
Rob brings nearly a decade of experience in the aerospace industry, first in the Boeing Company’s BCFP leadership development program which included six cross-functional rotations across multiple programs and sites then later transitioned to Aviall, a multi-billion dollar subsidiary and the world’s largest distributor of aviation parts and related services. There he held roles in Product Line Management and eCommerce, and led the overhaul of Aviall.com which entailed replatforming technology and applying new content strategy, digital marketing, and enhanced analytics approaches. Later at Zodiac Aerospace, Rob led the release of the first customer-facing spare parts portal and constructed a comprehensive multi-year digital transformation strategy to evolve both front and back-office experiences, processes and technologies.
He holds a bachelor of science degree in international business from Pepperdine and a master of business administration degree from Yale.
